Garcey Beach, Fuerteventura.

Description.

Garcey beach was made famous in the island by the shipwreck in 1994 of an ocean liner the AMERICAN STAR, which has been stranded on this beach, and now is visible only a minimal piece of the ship.

This beach is located about 10.5 kilometers of Pájara. From this village, we take the FV-617, which is aimed at Wall and Costa Calma, and about 3 miles from Pájara, we took a detour to the right along a dirt road that is indexed by a small wooden sign post(Flap - Garcey). For this dirt road we must travel about 7.5 miles and arrive at this beach, where there are several designated areas for parking.

Now that you do not see the wreck, visitors will have greatly reduced, making it an uncrowded beach, perhaps due to some difficulty of access.

My Opinion: This beach is very quiet, spacious and comfortable. A good place to disconnect because the few people that frequent.
